Description of ACE
The ADVA Optical Networking Certified Expert (ACE) program is a training and certification initiative for partners and end-users. It enables and authorizes certified users to provide their own deployment and maintenance support on ADVA Optical Networking products.
ADVA Optical Networking has designed the ACE program to enable ADVA partners and end-users to provide solid and reliable level 1 and 2 services to their customers. Upon certification, the ACE will be able to deploy and maintain optical networks based upon ADVA Fiber Service Platform technology.
The ACE program optimizes your Services efficiency. Benefits are faster diagnostics, reduction of errors and lowering your overall support costs. The ACE Certification requires that students successfully complete a formal product training and ADVA Knowledge Survey for the given ADVA product family (FSP 150, FSP 1500, FSP 2000, FSP 3000R7, FSP 3000 RE/RR and the ADVA Network Manager).
All of ADVA Optical Networking’s product training programs are mixed lecture/lab events that give attendees the ability to not only understand the product in theory, but also to apply their newly gained knowledge in practical laboratory experiments. All ADVA Optical Networking trainers have significant experience with the ADVA FSP equipment outside of the classroom, supporting customer trials, installations and issue resolutions, bringing valuable real world experience to the ACE program.
ADVA Optical Networking’s training programs range from web-based introductions to intensive hands-on experience. Upon passing the Knowledge Survey, the ACE Certificate is valid for two years. After this time, the user will require refresher training and subsequent Knowledge Surveys to maintain certification.
