FSP network manager

The FSP Network Manager is a user-friendly Element Management System (EMS) that provides the end-to-end management of a network built on ADVA Optical Networking’s Fiber Service Platform elements. The system provides secure and flexible access through any node on the network. Service provider and enterprise customers use the FSP Network Manager to simplify their optical network service-provisioning, monitoring and reporting.

The FSP Network Manager discovers the topology of the sub-network’s nodes and provides logged event and configuration capabilities. Inventory, configuration, connection, fault and performance monitoring and management for all network nodes can be accessed by multiple users and various security levels  across the network. Alarm correlation and analysis tools help diagnose problems quickly.

The GUI provides a variety of graphical views, including the physical network configuration, logical path configuration, network alarms and performance monitoring. Each view offers customized labeling, sort criteria, and filters.

Service-provisioning and performance monitoring for all circuits can be accomplished through simple point-and-click features. The flexible architecture of the FSP hardware platforms can be leveraged to enable remote service upgrades or protection changes without costly delays or truck-rolls.

The FSP Network Manager offers various northbound interfaces including CSV file upload to allow seamless integration with existing Operating Support Systems (OSS).
